Questions we get asked

Mostly about sizing, hours and whether the gear is genuine. If yours is not here, call the store on +66 62 050 4321 or message the Facebook page.

Are you an official Fairtex store?

Yes. All three shops are official Fairtex Pro Shops, listed on the Fairtex Thailand store locator at th.fairtex.com/pages/locations. Everything on the shelves is genuine Fairtex stock, straight from the factory line. No grey imports, no replicas.

Where exactly are your stores?

Three locations across Phuket and Krabi: The Plaza, Chalong (Soi Ta-iad, southern Phuket), Bangtao (Soi Ao Bangtao 4, Cherngtalay, north-west Phuket) and Ao Nang, Krabi. Full addresses, hours and directions are on the Our Stores page.

What are your opening hours?

Phuket Plaza (Chalong) and Bangtao open daily 10:00 to 20:00. Ao Nang, Krabi opens daily 11:00 to 22:00. Hours can change on Thai public holidays, so the live hours on each store's Google listing are the ones to trust.

Can I try gear on before I buy?

That is the whole point of walking in. Glove weight, shin guard length and Gi fit are all personal, and a size chart cannot tell you how a 14oz glove closes around your hand. Try on as many as you like and our team will talk you through the differences.

What glove weight should I choose?

As a general guide: lighter gloves for bag and pad work, heavier for sparring, and heavier again the bigger you are. But weight interacts with hand size, hand-wrap thickness and what your gym requires for sparring, so come in and we will fit you properly rather than guessing from a chart.

What is the difference between leather and microfiber gloves?

Genuine leather, like the BGV1, gives the classic snug fit and moulds to your hand over time. Microfiber, like the BGV14, is odour resistant, water repellent and much easier to wipe down, which matters in Phuket humidity. Both are available in-store to handle side by side.

Do you stock BJJ gis, belts and no-gi gear?

Yes. Pearl weave and double weave Gis, rank belts, high-stretch rashguards and no-gi fight shorts. Ask the team about grappling dummies if you want to drill at home.

Do you sell gear for kids?

Yes. The Fairtex Kids Series covers junior-sized gloves, boxing shorts and protective gear, scaled for younger athletes rather than just made smaller. Bring them in for a fitting.

Do you carry gear for other martial arts?

Alongside Muay Thai, boxing, BJJ and MMA, we carry Taekwondo kick pads and heavy bags. If you are after something specific, call ahead on +66 62 050 4321 and we will check stock before you travel.

Can I buy online and collect in store?

TO CONFIRM Click-and-collect and stock-reservation policy. Fairtex sells online at th.fairtex.com, but whether these three stores can hold or fulfil an online order needs confirming before we publish an answer.

What payment methods do you accept?

TO CONFIRM Cards accepted, foreign card surcharge, PromptPay and cash policy. We have not published this yet because getting it wrong wastes a customer's trip.

Do you supply gyms and bulk orders?

TO CONFIRM Wholesale and gym-supply terms, minimum order and lead times for Phuket and Krabi gyms.

Three answers are marked TO CONFIRM. Payment methods, click-and-collect and wholesale terms have deliberately been left blank rather than filled with a plausible guess. Confirm them with the store manager and they go live. FAQ schema markup on this page currently excludes those three.
